Create symbols of hope, unity & action that could be a banner icon for the fossil fuel free movement with the potential to transcend language and capture people’s imaginations by becoming part of the cultural zeitgeist.

Big oil has known the impact of fossil fuels for decades, and actively hid the info from 
the public, spreading misinformation even today. The Paris Agreement has proven insufficient.

The Present

Fossil Fuels amount to 86% of carbon in the earth’s atmosphere. The FFNPT is backed by 8 nation states, 75 major cities, and thousands of other organizations.

The Future

Ideally Phase out fossil fuels. Non-Proliferation - to prevent the increase or spread of something (in this case, fossil fuels).

These icons will be made available for free online in SVG format, for designers & activists to use to promote both the Fossil Fuel Non-Proliferation Treaty as well as general climate awareness.

Unity

Unity is an holistic icon to be used as a representation of togetherness, because climate change affects every person, and together we are stronger.

Taking Care of Our Earth represents doing things that will keep the Earth and everyone living on it healthy.

Fossil Fuel Phase-Out

Fossil Fuel Phase-Out is used to encourage the reduction of both the refining and use of fossil fuels.

Clean Energy is for use with the promotion of alternative, renewable sources such as wind and solar.
